A loan helped a member to buy chicks, pigs.

Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

This group is currently collaborating with Fundación Paraguaya. With help from the loan some of the members have been able to start activities that will produce profits for them. Some of these activities are: used clothes sales, set up and enlarging a grocery store, some have bought chicks and pigs.

So that repayments won’t be too taxing on them they also engage in community activities where they sell food items in order to earn income to cover monthly expenses.

The committee president is Martina who is involved in several activities in her home. She buys chicks to raise and then sell. She also raises pigs and is involved in other farming activities like growing vegetables for her family’s consumption.

She is asking for funds to buy chicks, nutritionally balanced pig feed and for other expenses associated with her activities.

In this group: Martina, Delia, Maria, Gertrudiz, Arminda, Ana, Gilda, Agueda, Marta, Susana, Sonia, Angelina, Amalia, Mariela, Maria, Maria
