A loan helped to purchase more imported clothes to sell.

Massa's story

Massa is 35 years old. She is a single mother with 3 children and all of whom are currently in school and live at home.

Massa is a high school graduate. She owns a business selling imported clothes. She started the business with her own earnings. She has been managing her sales for 7 years now.

Massa asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field partner. The loan will be used to purchase more imported clothes to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it gives her profits and she is proud of her business because it pays her children school fees. She is very grateful to BRAC and Kiva for their support. In the future she wants to build houses.

She wishes to say thanks.

This loan is special because:

It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
