Patroba's story

Patroba is a woman who spends every opportunity she gets in her life investing in her future. She is 28 years old and has two children under her care. Patroba has been a mixed farmer for the past ten years.

The Covid-19 pandemic has posed a significant threat to the economy of Kenya, causing a lot of uncertainties and disrupting food supply chains. Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, is on the front line in combating the effects of this pandemic through supporting smallholder farmers and micro-entrepreneurs during this difficult period.
