A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Solehat's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Solehat. She is fifty-five years old and a widow with one son and three daughters. Solehat runs a business of selling food. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on her family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for her child to access the course materials and sending assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,800,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Solehat is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and improves the living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
