A loan helped a member to buy cassava flour, cheese, eggs, shortening, salt, and other ingredients.

Aquidaban Group's story

The 13 women who joined this committee have set a goal to grow and move forward. They are participating in the poverty elimination program as they all strive to achieve a better quality of life for their loved ones.

One of the members is Sra. Justina, who makes and sells traditional Paraguayan cheese bread, which is consumed throughout the year. She is responsible for making the bread and selling her product as a street vendor. Justina is an enterprising person who works hard so that her family can have everything that she did not have.

She is requesting a loan to buy supplies for making her products such as cassava flour, cheese, eggs, shortening, salt, and other ingredients.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this group: Patricia, María, Lidia, Justina, Rocio, María, Candelaria, Idalina, Felipa, Ramona, Alma, Liz, María
