Ngamba Tweyambe Saving And Credit Women's Group's story

Joice is forty eight years old, married with five children, and lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda. She deals in the cocoa business mainly buying dry cocoa and selling to cocoa companies. She started the business eighteen years ago to raise school fees for her children and support family members.

Her main challenge is limited capital and unpredictable seasonal changes while her dream is to diversify her business to include a retail shop. Joice intends to use the loan to buy cocoa to sell. She is a member of a group where each one guarantees the other in accessing the loan and they have high regard for her given her hard work and commitment.
