A loan helped to buy fish.

Maria Magdalena's story

32-year old Maria Magdalena is single and is studying nursing. She lives in her parents' home in the canton of Jipijapa which is known as the Sultana del Cafe. The town is still seriously affected by Covid-19.

Maria Magdalena is a very hardworking woman who is seeking a way to earn her own living so that she can pay for her studies and also help her parents. In her house she has a business selling fish. Every day she and her father buy fish wholesale and then sell it by the pound to customers who come to the house. They sell a good product at a fair price and weight.

This loan will be used to buy fish.
