'Ema's story

Ema is a weaver. For ten years, she has been running this business, and for ten years her family has benefited from her business. She is married, and they have no children. 'Ema is a sole weaver, where she weaves her own weavings at her own home. She weaves taovala, mats, and fihu, using white pandanus only. When her weavings are ready, she sells them at the local market to earn money for their living. She applies for a loan to buy pandanus for her weaving, so that her weaving will continue to run without failing. She wants to be a good example to the women in their center.
