A loan helped to buy two pigs and their feed.

Madisona's story

Madisona is 33 years old and is married with one child. The family live in a rural village. Madisona is a pig farmer; this has been his income source for the past five years. His wife runs a food stand, serving soup, fried goods and pasta dishes.

Madison wants to move his life forward. He dreams of building a house for his family. This is why he has decided to take out loans with Vahatra, to develop his pig farming. He has already benefited from two successive loans which were fruitful. He plans on buying two pigs for fattening, 100kg of maize, 200kg of cassava, 200kg of bran and 10kg of other feed. He will sell the livestock on after six months to his local butchers.
