A loan helped to buy materials to increase her production of pajamas to sell during the Christmas season.

Luz Eider's story

Luz is 54 years old and originally from Colombia. She currently lives in Santo Domingo, which is on the outskirts of the city of Quininde. Luz arrived in Ecuador five years ago and lives with her partner Mario, who is also Colombian. She started a business of making and selling children’s and women’s pajamas and is continuing to do this work.

A large percentage of her loan will be used to acquire materials so that she can take advantage of the Christmas season. Based on her years of previous experience, this season provides a very good opportunity.

This is the first loan she has acquired from Fundación ESPOIR. Luz likes the fact that she received the loan in a timely fashion. Her dream is to manage her business independently in a self-sustaining manner because she wants to have financial freedom without having to depend on anyone. She also wants to improve her quality of life.
