01_Mboro 8 Group's story

This group, composed of fifteen good and honest women, was created in January 2016. They live in the same neighborhood and keep up good ties based on trust and mutual assistance. They are active in a diversity of revenue-generating businesses.

Ms. Anna Montero, the group's representative, is 43 years old, sitting at the left in the photo, and wearing a red beret. She is the married mother of six children (three boys and three girls), who are all in school. She is a clothier and runs various businesses (sewing, livestock, commerce) to earn a lot in revenues for her family’s well-being. She has nearly fifteen years of good experience.

She is going to purchase 50 chicks, 3 sacks of chicken feed, some pigs, and vaccines. She has a good customer base and manages to sell her products without a problem.

Her earnings enable her to develop her commerce in shoes, to save money, and to help her husband in managing family expenses.

In this group: Anna Montero, Astou, Amicette Biagui, Coumba, Diminga, Marie Hélène, Magatte, Claire Stéphanie, Catherine, Pauline, Maïmouna, Khardiata, Mariama, Edmée, Christine
