Mataoana works as a village nurse but struggles with buying multiple fuel and insufficient income. She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on paraffin and gas, which costs up to LSL 460 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.
