A loan helped to buy meat, oil, sauces, chicken, vegetables, etc.

Yuneidy's story

Yuneidy, 23, is a young micro-entrepreneur who lives in the town of Puerto Colombia with her spouse and her two children.

She started her commercial activity because she needed to generate income to support her family. She started selling in a small snack stand. Her business grew little by little, thanks to the broad popularity of her delicious products. She has expanded her business plan now and she has a fast-food stall where she sells her customers salchipapas [french fries and sausage], hot dogs, hamburgers, and other food.

Her husband has been her main support in this job; he helps her with the business.

Her sales and her income were affected by the pandemic, so she's looking to mitigate the impact of Covid-19. Currently she's applying for a Kiva loan, her first financing from Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in a purchase of meat, oil, sauces, chicken, vegetables, etc.

Her goal is to build customer loyalty by offering good service and quality at a fair price. Support her in her loan; it will be a success.
