Issaka is the father of six children, four of whom attend school. He has a hardware store selling various goods in an outlying neighborhood of the capital, which he has run for more than a decade.
Issaka is on his eighth loan cycle with YIKRI and repays his loans with no trouble. He is seeking a loan to purchase 50 wheelbarrows, 10 sacks of shovels, 15 sacks of pickaxes, and other supplies to meet customer demand.
Issaka plans to use his profits to reinvest in his business, and to save to improve his children's education.
