A loan helped to buy farming supplies and to pay for labor in order to maintain 1.05 hectares of coffee.

Ermin Antonio's story

Ermin is a 23-year-old farmer who lives with his wife in a remote community in Nicaragua. He works in the coffee trade and has a farm that measures 1.05 hectares. With the advice he received from the technical team from PAC, Ermin will implement the criteria for FLO certification.

For the past three years, he has been planting and harvesting quality coffee. For this crop cycle, the challenge for Ermin is to implement a nutritional improvement plan for his coffee plants. This will result in an increase in his family’s income. The loan he is receiving will be used to buy farming supplies and to pay for labor in order to maintain 1.05 hectares of productive coffee.

This is the first loan he has received from PAC.
