A loan helped a member to purchase the ACE One energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging, and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner, and saves money.

Pride Microfinance Group's story

John is a 33-year-old man who lives in a two-bedroom house with access to electricity. He lives with two other family members. John works as an accountant, but he struggles with charcoal energy expenses. He spends a total of UGX 100,000 on all of his fuel and electricity expenses.

John and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE One cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also to provide solar electricity to charge their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
