Harazari's story

Harazari is a male Ugandan aged 29 years. He is from Igoza, Kibaale district. He is married and has three children, two of whom are school-going.

He is a very hardworking and committed farmer growing mostly maize as a cash crop. He also owns a motor spare parts shop as well as a garage and is a mechanic.

These income generating activities have fostered the general well-being of his family and enabled him to lead a reasonably good life including constructing a reasonably standard house and also educating his children.

He is a first time borrower with UGAFODE is seeking a credit facility of 2,000,000 UGX to use as working capital for his business for specifically buying farm inputs like fertilizers, mulching materials, herbicides to boost crop production for improved product quality and quantity.

He is always faced with a challenge of unpredictable weather like drought, hailstorms and too much rain which is quite detrimental to his business. He awaits a positive response from Kiva. Thank you.
