A loan helped a member to buy fabrics for resale.

01_Gpf Sop Naby Group's story

This group was founded in January 2016 by five close women who all live in the same area. They have always supported each other and managed their business together.

Madam Ndéye is the group representative. She can be found in the photograph to the right with her hand raised. At 41 years old, she is married and the mother of three children, including one son.

Madam Ndéye sells fabrics, which she purchases in the marketplaces and resells from home throughout her neighborhood. She has over five years of experience in this sector.

With her portion of the loan, Madam Ndéye plans to stock up on fabric (bazin sheer, dyed, etc.) which she will resell at a profit. Her business has a loyal clientele.

The revenue from her sales allows her to cover important expenses and increased her working capital.

In this group: Ndéye, Ndéye, Ndéye Sokhna, Rokhaya, Rokhaya
