This group of women was established in June 2019. They all live in the same area and are joined by strong family bonds of solidarity. They mainly work in agriculture.

Sofie, who represents the group, is 30 years old. She is married and a mother of three children, including one daughter.

Sofie works as a farmer. With this loan, she plans to buy groundnut seeds and sacks of fertilizer. After the harvest, she is going to sell her yield at the local market for a good price, hoping to get better earnings.

With her profits, she is going to strengthen her savings and diversify her work by starting into retail.
