A loan helped to buy dairy products, juices, cookies, rice, beans, and sugar.

Abercio's story

Don Abercio is 51 years old. Five years ago, he decided to create his own source of income to bring food to his household table. In this time, he has been running his little grocery store. During the time he has had his business, he has had the unconditional support of his daughter, the same [person] who has generated an important source of inspiration for him.

Abercio came to the doors of Kiva, together with MiCrédito, with the desire to apply for a loan to buy dairy products, juices, cookies, rice, beans, and sugar, with the goal of expanding his business little by little, which would allow him to have more income.

In the near-term future, Abercio is thinking of converting his grocery store into a distributorship.
