In Charapotó Parish, farming and ranching are the main businesses. The vegetables that are sold in different regions and the rice are considered the best in Ecuador.
Barbara Fredesbinda is 54-years old. She is married and has four grown children who live on their own. Barbara's husband is a farmer. She and her husband earn their living farming. They plant all year round on their own land. They currently have corn, peanut, yucca and vegetable plants. They work everyday, and their children help them during harvest time.
This new loan will be for the purchase of a planting kit (certified seeds, urea, fertilizer, herbicide and pesticides). Barbara's dreams are for her family to be in good health and for their harvests to be of good quality.
