This group of eight was established in 2018. Its goal is to enable its members to develop businesses. The members live in the same locality and are bonded by ties of kinship and strong solidarity. Their main business is retail.

Aminata, the group's featured borrower, is on the right in the photograph, raising her hand. She's 48 years old, married, and the mother of four children, including three girls, who are all in her care.

Aminata sells food products. She gets her supplies at the market and resells to her loyal customers in and around her neighborhood. She foresees using her profits to provide schooling for her children and buy a residential lot.
