01_Tkoudiadiene Group's story

Established in the zone in February 2000, this group is comprised of these eight brave and dynamic women. They are from the same village and share strong bonds of family, neighborhood, and solidarity.
Madame Aminata, 39 years old, is the representative, at the left in the photo dressed in black and white. She is single and mother to one boy who attends school.
Aminata is active in vegetable and sauce/spice sales, she buys her stock at the central market and resells in her neighborhood at home. She benefits from over 15 years' experience.
With this loan she will buy sacks of vegetables (carrots, eggplant, peppers, turnips, cabbages, green onions...) as well as spices, 3 kgs of pepper, 10 packets of stock which she will resell at a good profit. She sells on credit to her loyal clients who pay in small increments.
Her profits allow her to take charge of her child (medical bills, school fees, clothing...) and to participate in the family expenses.

In this group: Philomène, Catherine, Cécile, Youma, Amy, Aminata, Sokhna, Thérèse
