A loan helped a member to buy supplies to increase her production.

Illimani Group's story

Vicenta is 42 years old (the first one in the photo). For nine years she has made a living by making and selling clothing. She learned this business by working in a workshop as a sewing assistant. After acquiring experience, she decided to open her own workshop. She sells her products in her city and manages to send some orders to other cities around the country. She requires the loan to buy fabric to cover the demand at the beginning of the school year. Like the other members of her communal bank, her intention is to grow her business, to progress financially, and to improve her quality of life.
