Lydia's story

Lydia is forty-five years of age. She is married and resides with the husband and three children in Adukrom, near Koforidua, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

She earns a living by selling kitchen appliances like silver sets, ceramic bowls, blenders, etc. She has been into this activity for the past eight years, having started from tabletops. Through her hard work, she has been able to acquire a container for the business. Currently constrained with finances, she is seeking support to buy stocks in the shop for increased sales, and consequently, increased revenue.

Lydia intends to plow her profits back into the business.

She is grateful in advance to generous Kiva supporters for supporting her hard-work.
