A loan helped to buy more eggs and cosmetics to sell.

Noime's story

Noime B., 53, is making sure that her family has enough provision for their daily needs. Married to Folro B., a tricycle driver, she is blessed with three children. She makes sure that she helps her husband earn so that their family can have a better life. She has been managing her own egg stall and doing direct selling of cosmetics for eight years now.

Noime has been a regular member of Center for Community Transformation (CCT) for more than a year now. She regularly attends their weekly fellowship meetings* and pays her weekly dues consistently. Because of her good repayment performance with her previous loans, she was able to borrow quite a few times in CCT’s cooperative. She is consistent in paying her dues because she used the money she borrowed to expand and improve her egg-selling and cosmetics direct-selling businesses.

To ensure the success of her business, Noime would like to apply for a PHP 16,000 loan. This amount will be used as a source of added capital for her expanding business by buying more quantities of products to be incorporated into her inventory.

Noime dreams that her businesses will continue to be successful. She also prays that her family will continue to be closer to each other and with the Lord.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of fifteen to thirty community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro-finance loans.
