A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle herd and sales of organic milk.

Sayragul's story

Sayragul, age 50, is married and has a daughter and three sons. She has a secondary-school education, and is by nature hard-working, motivated and enterprising. She knows agricultural techniques well, and she is able to invest money for its intended purpose. She has been raising livestock as her family's main source of income since 2003. Thanks to her tireless work and responsible approach to business, she has managed to grow her farm to include 4 cows, 10 sheep and 4 horses. She has 2.0 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows beans.
In order to further develop her farm, Sayragul has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows, with the aim of increasing sales of organic milk and revenue from livestock raising. Sayragul plans to invest revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm.
