Somchai's story

Somchai is a 54-year-old married woman living in a family with another five members (husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren) in a rural area of Surin province. She has run a small noodle restaurant in her hometown since she was 25 years old. The business is going well and is able to generate sufficient income.

During this time, she sought a financial source to develop her business, so she applied for the Kiva loan to buy noodles, meatballs, seasoning, and raw materials for cooking noodles and other food.

The loan will be helpful for Somchai to continue to develop her business. Furthermore, in the future, she plans to extend the restaurant responding to the amount and needs of customers.
