La Esperanza Group's story

This communal bank is called La Esperanza [Hope]. It is a group which is in its first loan cycle with 18 members. All of them work with a foundation of great satisfaction in order to be able to provide their loved ones with better living conditions so that they do not have to go through any kind of hardships.

One of them is Benigna who works selling food that she herself makes so that she can help her family. She mentions that, through her work, she generates the income to be able to give her family everything that she was not able to have. She is requesting this loan to be able to buy supplies to make her meals like vegetables, meats, baked goods, produce, chicken, condiments, and other products.
