A loan helped to buy materials for her business.

Sisi's story

Sisi is a 20-year-old young lady from the eastern side of Tongatapu. She is a single mother of one, and she lives together with her parents. Her son is still under age and is staying with her back at home.

Her business is making kiekie from hibiscus skin. Her mother helps her with the business. She makes three kiekie every week, then takes them to the local market for selling.

Sisi dropped out of school at a very young age, and had a child. What she's doing right now is trying to create a better future for her son, so he will not repeat the same mistakes she made. In the future, she is hoping to make more than just three kiekie in a week, and earn more.
