Banu successfully paid back her loan and she is grateful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her financially. On her farm, Banu now has 5 cows, 15 sheep, 3 horses and a 0.8-hectare plot of land where she grows alfalfa.
In order to further develop her business, Banu has approached Bai Tushum Bank once more, for a loan of 100,000 som. She will use the money to buy livestock and bales of hay to increase her income from raising livestock. The profit from the loan will help Banu to improve her family's living conditions and to save up for her son's wedding.
