Halima's story

Halima is a young hardworking mother of one child. She lives in a rural setting and has to juggle between her formal job and her clothing business in Mbale town.

Halima does this to be able to meet the needs of her little child that is of school going age. The challenge Halima faces is that her salary, often delayed, is forced to use capital from her shop to meet her daily needs. Because of this, the stock in the clothing business is reduced, and Halima is unable to restock because she has insufficient funds.

She requested for a loan of 2,000,000 to enable her restock her shop. She believes that this will translate to more sales and ultimately, more income.
