A loan helped to buy more crates of soda and several boxes of juice to sell.

Sarah's story

Sarah has a beverage depot. She offers soft drinks like sodas and juices to earn income and living for her family. She does not eat all her profits: she reinvests in other ventures like farming beans and maize to increase her earnings and support her family and the husband who earns a fixed income.

Her dream is to have a big business inventory but right now she is just working on improving the small capital she has.

Sarah has asked for a Kiva loan to buy more crates of soda and several boxes of juice to sell in the town of Bwera, Uganda.

This loan is special because:

It targets extremely rural populations.
