Amos's story

Amos is a 46-year-old married father with five children, of whom three attend school in Kamwenge, Uganda.

His main source of income is goat rearing, which he supplements with coffee and banana growing. This enables him to pay part of his children’s school fees and also stabilize his income.

He hopes to become a model farmer in his area, but his main challenge is prolonged drought, which lets him down.

He will use the loan to buy more goats.
