The borrowers belong to the communal bank San Juan Bautista De Circa Kacya. This bank is located in the district of Ancahuasi, in the province of Anta, and the department of Cusco.

Tomasa, the borrower, is a hardworking woman who wants to get ahead in her business. She works in agriculture. She has a plot where she grows potatoes, corn, and tomatoes. Her dream is to have a larger plot of farmland. She is requesting the loan to buy seeds and fertilizers.

The other borrowers work in animal sales, in agriculture, and in the grocery store business. The borrowers are grateful and committed to paying off the loan.
