Rubiri Development Association Group's story

The Rubiri Development Association is a women’s group that was founded in the city center of Mbarara. The members engage in different business activities, such as trade.

Caroline is a widowed mother with three children, two of whom are in school. She sells secondhand shoes at the local market. Caroline is requesting a loan to buy more inventory of shoes so that she can meet the customer demand, as well as increase her profits so that she can pay school fees for her children. The group appreciates the support from Kiva.
