Rahat has successfully repaid her loan. She is truly grateful to Kiva and to everyone who has helped her with financing. At present Rahat has eight cows on her farm.
In order to continue developing her business, Rahat once again has reached out to the Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy sheep, with the goal of increasing her revenues from raising livestock. She plans to invest her revenues in a further expansion of her farm by increasing her livestock headcount and to spend part of the funds for improving her family’s living conditions.
