A loan helped to purchase more stock of tomatoes, onions, avocados and green vegetables.

Josophina's story

Josophina is 63 years old. She is married to Wilson, and together God blessed them with five children, among whom one is below the age of 18 years old.

Josophina has been running a small grocery for three years, and now she earns an average income of KES 5,000 per month.

She has applied for this second loan from Vision Fund Kenya to enable her to purchase more stock of tomatoes, onions, avocados and green vegetables. This will increase her monthly sales and thus her monthly income.

With the anticipated profits, Josophina plans to buy more stock and also to pay school fees for her children. In the near future, she hopes to get more income and to get a permanent stall for her business.
