A loan helped to buy different types of detergents to sell in her neighbourhood.


Samar's story

Samar is a 35-year-old married Syrian woman. She is the mother of seven kids, six of them are in school.

Samar’s family came from Damascus in 2013, She has been working in a clothing business ever since then and her husband works as a driver in a private company.

In order to make a better living and to face the many difficulties such as high prices, rent, school expenses, she asked for 300 JD as a loan from Microfund for Woman. She will use the funds to start her home-based detergents selling business by buying the needed types so she can sell them from the house.

Samar aspires to create another and better income for her and her family so she can face life.
