Wilobo Wire Farmers Group's story

Richard is a male Ugandan aged 46 years. He is living in Minakulu and married with 6 children, 2 of whom attend school. He is proud of being the head of the village health team and loves helping others.

Richard is a farmer who grows sunflower, cassava, beans, simsim, and soya beans. He repairs bicycles as a side income. He is supported by his wife who is also a farmer.

He is requesting for a loan of 600,000 from VisionFund Uganda to buy quality seed. He plans to use part of the income from the harvest to add more stock in the bicycle business and also expand his gardens as well as supporting his family.

His dream is to build a commercial building in the trading center.
