Diarra's Group's story

This group, created in February 2014, is composed of very energetic women with ties of solidarity who are active mainly in commerce and in raising livestock.

DIARRA, who is standing at the right in the photo with a hand raised, is 62 years old, married, and the mother of four. She is active in fattening livestock. It is a business she started a year ago.

With her loan, she intends to purchase 5 sheep to fatten and resell after five months. The rest of the loan will be used to purchase some fodder. With the profits she is going to earn, she envisions meeting the needs of her children.
