Tiresa's story

Tiresa is 50 years old and married with two children.

She has a small plantation where she grows taro and bananas that she can sell in her community or at the market. She has been doing this for two years. She has many loyal customers due to her fresh products and good customer service.

Tiresa needs a loan to buy chemicals, fertilizer, a new wheelbarrow, a tiller, a rake, new gum boots, digging-fork, banana tube (seedling), taro roots (seedling), and backpack sprayer, to help her with the business and take her business to the next level. She will use the profit from her sales to pay for her family’s weekly expenses.

She joined SPBD in 2006, and her dream is that one day she will have her own vehicle to deliver her business produce.

She is very grateful for your support in helping her to build a small business to improve her family's living standard.
