Mary is an enterprising married woman with a joyful family living in Kasese, Uganda where she has been engaged in farming for many years. She also sells foodstuffs to earn a daily income and improve her household settings. Her challenges have been low capital input and prolonged droughts yet she desires to diversify her income by setting a retail shop from her daily proceeds. With this, she believes, she would be able to educate her children. She has requested a loan to buy more foodstuffs like passion fruits, fresh beans, carrots, green peppers, onions and pawpaws to sell at a profit.
