A loan helped to stock more human medicine to sell.

Emmanuel's story

Emmanuel operates a drug shop in Kagadi Uganda. He is a 32-year-old married man with three children, two of whom attend school. Emmanuel is known for selling inexpensive and genuine human drugs. His shop is located in a busy town near those who mainly farm cassava, beans, maize and other cash crops.

Emmanuel wants to develop and expand his business into a pharmacy, but he is faced with the challenges of inadequate capital, high taxes, high license costs and bad debtors. With the aim of helping to save people's lives, he is requesting a loan to stock more human medicine to sell.
