A loan helped a member to buy cutlasses, wellington boots, spraying machines, pesticides, digging tools, sharpening stones, and animal traps for resale.

Nkwa Na Ehia Group's story

Owusu is on the right side in the picture. He is a very industrious man. Even though Owusu does not have a formal education, he is doing everything possible to educate his children up to the tertiary level.

Owusu sells farm supplies to farmers and is also a farmer himself. Owusu needs a new loan to be able to buy cutlasses, wellington boats, spraying machines, pesticides, digging tools, sharpening stones, and animal traps to restock his shop. Funding Owusu means you are helping farmers within his community to have easy access to farm supplies at an affordable price.

Owusu will use the profit from his business to support his children's education and re-invest the remaining back to expand his business. Owusu thanks all his Kiva lenders for their generous support.
