A loan helped a member to add more sewing materials and bundles of African women's fabric known as "Vitenge" to grow her business.


Inuka Group-Mgumu's story

Nyangi is 31 years old, married and blessed with 2 children who are both students. She is a clothing seller: she sells African women's fabric known as "Vitenge" and she sews different types of clothing at her own small workshop. She has been running this business for 5 good years. She opens her business daily at 8:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm. She earns profit to help meet her family's needs.

This will be Nyangi's first loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She is applying for this loan to add more bundles of "Vitenge" to sell and sewing materials to help her business grow. Her dream is for her business to grow.

Nyangi will share a portion of this loan with members of her loan group, "Inuka Group-Mgumu."
