Nuria's story

Meet Nuria, a 31-year-old shopkeeper from Kilimani. She lives with her husband, who is a driver, and their eight children. Nuria is hardworking member from a women’s group in Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.Nuria owns a shop where she sells basic foodstuffs like sugar cooking oil,maize meal,rice and milk. She has been in this venture for four years. She uses part of her residence as a shop. This business has been the main source of income for her and her family. She will the use the loan to buy more foodstuffs for her retail business so as to maximize her profits,thus improved standards of living for her family.
