Kubata Nesimba Group's story

Among the members of Kubata Nesimba Group is a 65-year-old woman named Ephania who is very hardworking. She has been in the poultry business for the past 15 years.

Ephania is a mother of one and she stays at her home in Dombotombo Marondera, where she is making progress in accomplishing her business objective. Last time she received a loan amount of $500 and she used it to boost her business. Her business has improved a lot and she is now able to save $100 per month. She usually keeps two batches of 100 broilers per month. She also has layer chickens, which she keeps at her home.

Kubata Nesimba is a group of four business ladies and they are now on their third successive loan. The group received a combined loan of $2900. Ephania used her loan to restock more broiler chicks as well as chicken feed.
