A loan helped to purchase a new milking cow and better quality fodder for all her livestock.

Mafia Shahzadi's story

Mafia Shahzadi is a 28-year-old woman who lives in Gujrat, Pakistan, a large agricultural city. She has been involved in a livestock business with her family for the last few years. She, along with her family, takes care of the buffaloes and cows and sells the milk in the community to cover their family expenses.

At the moment, they are facing a problem due to low milk production. The reason for this is the low quality of the fodder. Therefore, Mafia Shahzadi asked for a loan from JWS Pakistan to purchase a new cow and good quality fodder for their animals. This will help them to increase their milk production.

Mafia Shahzadi is hopeful that this loan will be productive for their business. She and her husband are very thankful to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.
