A loan helped to purchase additional stocks of men's trousers, men's shoes, and children's clothes.

Kudakwashe's story

Kudakwashe is a 45-year-old woman living in Kadoma, Zimbabwe. She is married and lives with her husband and three children, one of whom is in college and two of whom are in high school. Her husband's young brother, who is searching for employment, also lives with them.

She runs a flea market where she sells men's trousers, shirts, and shoes and children's clothes, a business she has been running for nine years now. Kudakwashe has requested a loan from Microhub to purchase additional stocks of men's trousers, men's shoes, and children's clothes in preparation for the festive season when she anticipates brisk business as people are paid their bonuses. Income from this business will help her pay for her children's fees and general family upkeep. Her husband is unemployed, and this business is the family's only source of income.
